Diary

I figured I'd do the diary before I got to work today.

I gave buttercup a ride to and from Valhalla Tuesday night in honor of her giving up alcohol for Lent.  It was quite a fun night, for about two hours.  Up until about 2am.  Then I got up at 6am to meet her at church for the Imposition of Ashes.  Needless to say I was a bit out of it yesterday.  I actually did what I said I was going to, which was go home early and go straight to bed.  I didn't even have dinner.  It's quite a nice feeling to wake up before the alarm goes off thinking "man, I sure could use another couple hours" and see that it's three hours before the alarm, not three minutes.

I've got to get up to Austin sometime soon; my Ruger 10/22 is back from the gunsmith with a new trigger job (actually, a trigger job that I did, but screwed up), and my Dad traded his P944 in for a Glock 21.  By the way, my Dad is now the owner of a US Patent.  Congratulations!  I guess I've got something to shoot for (pun not initially intended).

So, tonight is another rehearsal, and then I get some definately needed time off Friday night.  The last two weekends have been a lot of fun but it's time for a break.

And I still need to get that coffee machine.

Congratulations to your dad. Tell him to be prepared for an endless legal battle to actually get companies to recognize the patent. At least that's what happened when my dad got his patents.

That's a good choice, for when the Black Helicopters start disgorging troops.

I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do.
