So was this supposed to be a foreign poicy debate, or the Iraq policy debate? There were what, 3 questions not about Iraq? And all of them focussed on Iran and North Korea. Don't we have other things to do then fight wars? Can't we talk about free trade? Or Mexican immigration? Pakistan and India? Our Cuban policy?

Listen, if there was one thing that people probably had a handle on going into this debate, it was the candidate's fucking stance on Iraq. So why the fuck did Jim Lehrer spend the entire time talking about stuff that everyone has already heard about?

So that neither candidate "appeared" taller than the other. But it's not like it wasn't obvious that Kerry was, the podium was still there as a reference point. Honestly, if the Bush folks wanted to equalize that, they should've borrowed a page from LotR and given Kerry a bigger podium.
