I bought these (10 jewel case 4x 4.7GB DVD+RW) and now discover my recorder only supports DVD-RW.

They're no use to me; anyone want them? UK only, I'm afraid.

I bought a box of -RW and a box of -R before discovering Macs only do +R. 60 quid down the drain.

It's just such a bad example of politics (well, something to do with saving a couple of pennies on patents) filtering down to affect the one group it shouldn't - the end user.
I think I got confused because I believe my recorder can play both + and -.

Then I won't have to pay for delivery. I guess one of the last three weekends in August would be good - I think Hulver said he was free after July, and I'll be moving house the first weekend.
