Can I ask a favour please??

I know I live in Austria, but I still dont speak enough german to read my pregnancy reports. Anyone mind translating them for me?

This is really cheeky of me.

I promise I do have lessons lined up!!

please please please translate these three pages, 2 are page one and 2 of todays report, the third is what the nurse kept trying to say to me, but ended up writing it down with the idea that we will manage to translate it. She was a lovely lady who tried soo hard, and even got me speaking a little german to her for my practice!

in theory, much of the reports wording is in words that babel fish doesnt know, this is my third report, and I tried that with the other ones...

And yes, "Kreissaal" does mean round room, but it also means maternity room.

It's not "Kreissaal" (circle room), it's "Kreisssaal". "kreissen" means to be in labour. Apparently. One learns something new every day.

It's nothing to do with the Neue Rechtschreibung (which I don't recognise, and in fact I've started writing letters in 19th century German in protest), but in Switzerland and Austria, the

Ok, this is a partial translation of the report. I'm not that kind of a doctor, so I don't understand the technical terms.

Indication: previous pregnancy, first child Dubowitz syndrome (lists symptoms). The patient was already told in the UK that prior to the birth, it's not possible to know (there was also discussion with Miss Drahonsky).

Age of mother. Last period. Calculated date of birth, including ultrasound data. Gestation time.

Ultrasound findings. Pregnant with a single child. Toshiba (not the kid, the machine!). The provided measurements were obtained after (statistically?) sufficient examination. All measurements are within 2 standard deviations of the normal mean.

Biparietal diameter. Frontooccipital (sp?) diameter. Circumference of the head (ouch! ;-). Transcerebellum diameter. Diameter of abdomen, diagonal. Diameter of abdomen A-P. Circumference of abdomen. Length of femur. Some unknown ratios.

Positive heart action. Something about which direction the skull is. More technical stuff.

Anatomy as deduced via ultrasound:

profile: not visible very well, but nothing noticeable. (I presume that's good).

Lips: nothing noticeable.

vertebral column: intact.

skin ??: intact.

???

stomach: visible.

both kidneys and ??: visible.

All four extremities visible.

Judgement: the biometric data is compatible with the previous data. So far, no indications of any malformations which could be seen via ultrasound.

Doppler-sonography: also no indications of anything wrong.

Diagnosis: So far, no indications of sonographically visible malformations.

Next steps: Today, you've been listed for a birth at the PNA. In 4 weeks, you'll have another ultrasound, as agreed.

Pictures of typical measurements (mean, plus/minus 2 standard deviations, yours are marked by crosses).

Heart-- 4-chamber view-nothing noteable for the chamber's grasp/foundation, nor for the size of the ventricle, as well as the valve openings and the morphology of the heart.
The ventricle's septum appears intact.
I'm not sure if that last bit is good news, or not. You should ask for more details.
