That sucked.

I didn't watch more than about 1/0th of that game, it was so bad.  I occasionally checked in to see, "Yep, the Sharks are still sucking", and quickly turned away to watch someting else.

Don't worry by Nutbutter Jim (6.00 / 1) #1 Mon May 17, 2004 at 07:22:09 PM EST
Next game is in Calgary, so the Flames are bound to lose.

agreed, unfortunately by 606 (6.00 / 1) #2 Tue May 18, 2004 at 02:30:34 AM EST
It's been the curse of the home games for the Flames. Things would be much better for fans of both teams if everyone won at home and lost on the road.

However, I managed to go to one game in the Vancouver series, and we won 4 - 0, so maybe they're losing because I can't go to the games. Someone has to get me tickets or else our chances are over!

ye of little faith by 606 (3.00 / 0) #3 Tue May 18, 2004 at 02:34:50 AM EST
Well yes, the Sharks did suck, but that's no excuse not to watch the game! You have to keep faith! Stay strong!

I missed the Flames come back from 3 - 0 in game 6 of the Vancouver series. I turned it off because I assumed it was all over. Came back and found the Flames tied in triple overtime. We did eventually lose that one, but miracles can still happen!

Not like I want your Sharks to win, or anything. Cuz I don't.

That was one of the best games of the season, too. =)

It woulda been better... by 606 (3.00 / 0) #5 Tue May 18, 2004 at 06:23:43 AM EST
It woulda been better if Calgary'd have won. Seriously, coming back from a severe defecit, facing tough opponents, playing the game of their lives, enduring three overtime penalties and..... losing? Then going back and finishing the job two days later in an away arena. You can't make a Hollywood blockbuster with a story like that.

What team do you usually root for, Jim?

I go for Vancouver, so I thought that game ended pretty well. =)
