Things going wrong.

Had wakeboarding booked yesterday. It was so damned windy though that it would've been deeply unpleasant. Will suggested I try wakesurfing instead. It's a good laugh. Quite tricky to stay with the wave without hitting the back of the boat though.

Annoying news: we set up all wedding presents through The Gift Registry. Their blurb initially said "delivery 2 weeks after the event". Well they eventually scheduled us in for October 16th - a mere 7 weeks. Now it appears that they've gone into receivership. Bastards. Hopefully people were bright enough to pay by credit, not debit card. What is does mean is that we're nto going to get all that stuff.

At home today allegedly doing DIY. Best get on with it - especially if I'm to get the downstairs lighting circuit back on before it gets dark. Cursing psychopathic electricians at the moment.

Here in DC we had a bridal gown shop go under with no notice. Crying brides all over town.

Earth First!
(We can strip mine the rest later.)

At least the event went off OK. I've just found out that my parents bought something really expensive ... on a debit card.

On the bright side, I now have fully functioning lights all over other house. And plaster dust in my hair.

that was a few tens of feet from a heavily traveled road (probably 219). One day a tire flew off a semi, went through the window and set it on fire. It was a  total loss, many sad brides.
