Can I please be finished fighting with the gym over my membership dues?

Over the past 10+ years I've had a gym membership. First with one gym that was bought by another.  The important thing is that the buyout didn't change my monthly fees which are ridiculously low.

However, several years ago after 7 or 8 years of no problems at all, I had to change my checking account number.  Suddenly, and no surprise, my membership fees weren't being automatically drafted, and I thought I took care of it.  I filled out a form once a month for 6 months (that sounds ridiculous but, honestly it was that bad) but they couldn't get it to work.  No matter who I spoke to or how many times I filled out the form, they couldn't get the automatic bank draft to work again.

The interim solution was to periodically just pay my membership fee when I was at the gym but more often than not I didn't have my checkbook or my bank card with me and eventually this hassle impacted my already less than regular gym attendance.

Now, after having put on god-know-how-many pounds since last autumn, I ventured back to the gym to today to straighten things out.  I paid my past due balance and filled out yet another godforsaken form to get the automatic bank draft working again.

I'm going to work out tomorrow morning no matter how dog tired I am, and I'm not going to cringe when I scan in.  Well, I'll probably cringe but I'll take the receipts from today's transactions to settle any problems that may arise.
