Today is Mrs. Ha's first day at her new job, I'm praying that this is the one. She hasn't had a real professional/technical job in about 9 years (which means I've pretty much been nearly carrying the family financially for 9 years). I can see us making traction on my severe debt if this works out, if not, who knows.

Yesterday was spent shopping and thrifting for business casual clothing, I didn't find much other than a crock pot cookbook, which had an interesting vegetarian curry recipe. Anyone have any easy vegetarian slow cooker recipes?

I made a sweet but small amount wednesday night for taking part in a two hour focus group on local web portals, including my first face time on Vista, meh. By small amount, it's grocery money for the week, but not even one month's payment for ten year old's prospective orthodontia. Yeah, she needs braces, and the initial quote was $4700 USD, of which insurance will pay $1500. Sure, I can spread the pain over 2 years, but I'm going to call for a second opinion.

This must be kharma for the merciless taunting of J I did in sixth and seventh grade, of course I was sweet on her, but acted like a jerk because that's how most young teenage boys act.

No big news on the medical front, other than awaiting an appointment at the rheumatologist and
upping my Prednisone. I also got the okay to weight training or swimming if I have the energy
too, so I'm hoping for a burst of energy in the evening. I think I'll start with swimming, any one know where I can get a lime green banana hammock, Borat style?

I am getting disgruntled at work, I would thank that after fighting high priority fires on $product for 4 years with very few mishaps, I'd get a little cred and respect. That's not happening. I'm not the only one who feels that way either.

Nutella is becoming my new favorite breakfast spread, though I wish it has less sugar and more hazelnut.

On the movie front, we watched most of Spike Lee's Mo Better Blues, but we never finished it, and may not take it out again. It wasn't that gripping.

We did watch all of End of the Century, the story of the Ramones. While I certainly think they should be enshrined in the Punk hall of fame for basically kicking off the punk movement in the 70s, there are other bands I prefer to listen to. If I'm in an angry mood, the Pistols fit me better, if I want some skill, I go for the Clash, for humor there's always DK or FEAR. I do regret that I never got to see them live, a shame because they were around a lot.
