At the same time as Saville and Harris and he kept silent despite possibly meeting them in BBC canteen.

I think he only started revealing the BBC's dark secrets after his Kundalini awakening in Peru. Up until that time he was basically a member of the establishment.

His whole lizard thing schtick is a false flag to control his followers who all have otherwise high critical thinking skills orchestrated by Mossad and the Quataris.

People overthink the lizard thing. by gmd (2.00 / 0) #5 Fri Jul 04, 2014 at 05:17:08 PM EST
Icke literally believes that some people are reptilian shape shifters. He's not making veiled references to Jews (although he doesn't have much time for Zionism it is true).

David sincerely believes there are shape shifters living among us. just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it isn't happening...

Evidence by marvin (2.00 / 0) #6 Sun Jul 06, 2014 at 12:53:27 PM EST
Just because there is zero evidence that shape shifters exist is no reason to stop believing in them.

I wouldn't say there is _zero_ evidence. by gmd (2.00 / 0) #7 Sun Jul 06, 2014 at 07:02:55 PM EST
It's just that most of the evidence is anecdotal.

I've never been to Australia, but I know many people who claim to have been there, and I don't feel I need concrete personal experience of visiting Australia in order to believe it exists. And for some people, this is how they feel about the whole reptilian shapeshifting thing.

There are quite a few people who claim to have witnessed shapeshifting. It seems odd that anyone would expose themselves to ridicule by lying about this.

Is it lying if they actually believe it? by marvin (2.00 / 0) #8 Sun Jul 06, 2014 at 07:42:19 PM EST
To me, lying includes an intent to deceive.

I view shapeshifters much like the sasquatch / bigfoot / yeti. People believe they saw something, and their minds filled in the blanks. It is just like any other conspiracy theory - belief requires a blend of limited information, ignorance, and a refusal to consider rational explanations.

So far, the samples collected by bigfoot believers appear to be from bears, wolves, and other known animals.

I'll wait for a dissection of a shapeshifter first. Their DNA would have to be very different from human DNA. With the amount of DNA analysis completed over the past 20 years, it is surprising that shapeshifters have avoided sample collection and/or suppressed the results for so long.

I think there is a problem with materialism. by gmd (2.00 / 0) #9 Mon Jul 07, 2014 at 05:46:23 PM EST
We tend to think of "things" as being quite solid, and unchangable. But you only have to look at cephlapods to see that it's not really true.

if as modern physics suggests, matter is essentially static waves in some sort of vibrating string medium, perhaps some cymatic effect could result in shapeshifting.
or, if you take an even less materialistic view and believe in consciousness as a fundamental building block of reality, then all bets are off. It's interesting to note that people who have ingested vast quantities of LSD on a regular basis report that often the same people appear to them as lizards when they are tripping.
