The majority of the people don't want want UKIP as they have only 31% of the vote. It seems that the people don't like any of the political parties paticularly.

That system has had its day. Too bad that people are afraid of change, and focused on maintaining majority rule for their own parties. I've been happiest with the minority governments I've seen, along with coalitions.
