with one of the entries being a NANO.... I guess it may take a little while to get through them!

I guess maybe 2 weeks is a bit short, eh?

Voting Fun Challenge by Kellnerin (4.00 / 2) #4 Tue Dec 01, 2009 at 10:18:42 PM EST
... could end up getting extended as long as the original challenge it was attached to ... I don't think there is much sense in a competitive poll with this selection, though. It's more that it's nice to have little checkboxes to click for each one to convey props for actually submitting something. What would the prize be -- the right to host the next Perpetual Fun Challenge? ;)

Similarly, I don't think there's a great need for anonymity -- I think I know who more than half the entrants are, anyway. Although I guess we could also have the customary week of mystery and then unveil the names on the hosting site. The spoiler-conscious could download the entries before the revelation and then read Husi by peeking between their fingers thereafter until they're ready to find out ...

It's interesting, but not that surprising I suppose, that most of the entries are written word (although I only see the one NaNo). It's the one skill that we all have, even if most of us can't carry a tune or draw a straight line. (It would have been cool to have some hand-drawn art, though -- I miss that FC genre.) I'm also bummed that none of the entries appear to be dark nowhere's Super Sekrit project ... maybe next year?

I tend to agree by ana (2.00 / 0) #5 Wed Dec 02, 2009 at 06:52:34 AM EST
with all this. Unless there are objections, I'll turn on the reveal in a week or so.

And I'd forgotten dark nowhere's super sekrit project. Too bad it wasn't entered.

Thanks for hosting by Scrymarch (4.00 / 1) #6 Fri Dec 04, 2009 at 12:11:42 AM EST
I voted that everyone won, and without a twinge of conscience.

I also put up a late entry since I was one of the cheerleaders for this thing :)

Will sig for food

And yeah, I really wanted to do more than I did, but hey. Another time, perhaps.
