Pontiac G6 rental cars by kwsNI (2.00 / 0) #3 Fri Oct 10, 2008 at 09:11:36 AM EST
Last time I had one of them I was driving across the Mojave daily.  fyi, they have no speed limiter on them but the back end floats somewhere between 116-119mph.

it made an okay highway cruiser, though our minivan is more comfortable.

XM Channels by wiredog (2.00 / 0) #5 Fri Oct 10, 2008 at 09:35:43 AM EST
26 is the "adult contemporary" station. Sometimes it's modern rock, these days it's usually angsty women in their 30s.

8 is the 80's channel. 80's pop hits.

46, Classic rock. 60's and 70's. All the tunes you've heard so many times you'll barf if you hear them again. OTOH, sometimes "Satisfaction", by the Stones, fits the mood.

49, Late classic rock. Mid-70's to mid-90's. The one I listen to the most.

110,112. Classical. Great when stuck in traffic.

The Loft, The Verge? by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #6 Fri Oct 10, 2008 at 09:37:57 AM EST
wtf were those? Deep Tracks was good once in a while, but not for extended times.

I tried 80's but those weren't the 80's tunes I remembered.

debt paydown by StackyMcRacky (2.00 / 0) #8 Sat Oct 11, 2008 at 06:53:22 AM EST
get on the Motley Fool, and post your numbers on the Credit Card and Consumer Debt board.  they'll help you pay off your debt without taking out a 401k loan.

I'll look into it by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #9 Sat Oct 11, 2008 at 06:55:56 AM EST
