Devil Town by Daniel Johnston?

I dig that song.

However, I don't think husi is dead.

On both counts.

The song isn't really meant to be commentary on HuSi.  I picked what rhymed and worked.  I know it came out harsh here and there, but given the nature of the base song.....there wasn't a lot that could be done.

The song is based on Allentown by Billy Joel.

Inspired by dev trash's recent trip to Allentown.  I actually posted it there first, but was asked to make it into a diary.

And yeah, I reckon HuSi's going really well at the moment.

Late-70's Billy Joel by wiredog (4.00 / 1) #10 Thu Jul 31, 2008 at 03:49:27 AM EST
"Allentown" was his social comment song that was closest to Springsteen in style and topic.

Scenes From An Italian Restaurant is a nice commentary on part of the 70's as well.
