Dartmouth by sasquatchan (2.00 / 0) #6 Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 08:11:57 AM EST
has the winter carnival, that's in FEB. Animal house was based on Dartmouth, so I figured.

Seems odd that "so much" happens in the movie, yet it's homecoming. Usually the first big round of exams is at/on homecoming (was in my college experience..)

I'd have to vote for Berlin's Love Parade, in spite of the fact that I am not a homosexual.
Excellent tunes during it.

I thought drinking age was 21 in USia? by marvin (2.00 / 0) #3 Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 07:46:43 AM EST
Next beer was a Rorhbach's Cask Ale, and I got grief for using a $2 bill (eleven year old was tired of hers and wanted singles)
Wow, I never understood the whole parents finishing the food on the kid's plates thing before, but I admit that I would gladly quaff down any Cask Ale that my eleven year old was tired of.

Thank goodness you weren't letting her have doubles, and limited her to single-shot shooters. Although hard liquor for an eleven year old is probably not good parenting, but who am I to judge?
