A friend had a '69 650 Bonneville. He ripped out the fuse and replaced it with a breaker aftr he got tied of replacing fuses on a daily basis.

I'm surprised anyone would still not use circuit breakers nowadays. Wouldn't the norm be having both a general breaker and a secondary one for each room?

Just what I was going to suggest.  My sorta-gf had almost the same problem on her tarus.  Just a fuse.

it makes me think I could be something more than what I am.  Who would ever think that a high draw item like an AC would need it's own fuse.
