despite a university education in computer science, i can't figure out how to use myspace's UI.

but more importantly, i was wondering if you and cbb might be willing to have daniel and i as houseguests some evening before i sell my car?

i'd like to hang out again before i take off for europe, and you have more babies then we do, so i figured it would be easier if we came to you.

He is a scoundrel. by ni (4.00 / 5) #15 Wed Feb 07, 2007 at 07:34:15 AM EST
He is a scamp. He is a low life and a ne're-do-well. He is a criminal of the lowest order.

He is a republican and sometimes fascist. He eats the souls of children and kicks puppies. Rainbows are replaced with stormclouds when he walks under them.

He lives on sadness and misery, breathing them like others do air. He is all that is wrong with the world. The is The Shadow. He is Randall Flagg. He is Moloch. He is Satan.

He's pretty fun at a party.

He made my partner laugh out loud within 1.5 minutes of meeting him, which isn't easy.

He should come see us again, with or without the entourage.

myspace is a doddle in comparison.

Littlestar, didnt realise you were available for musical collusions. I always wondered what shmrb style fuzz pop would sound like with female vocals (I suspect like the go-gos). Will have a go at writing you something after I hear your voice and vocal range.

I have a very wide range. I am a soprano (a majestic soprano specifically, which speaks of my timbre) but can sing an alto as well. I have many different voices, and a pop thingy would be fun to do.

Hook me up anytime.

Come over anytime. Just let me know when.

I found myspace a bit confusing at first, but shockingly, I figured it out mostly.

I will see you guys soon!

When I sing by wiredog (2.00 / 0) #3 Wed Feb 07, 2007 at 05:48:16 AM EST
Dogs howl. Well, one used to, but he died. It was pretty funny, actually. I'd start singing to the dog and he'd throw his head back and howl.

You want to eat your baby? Baked, fried, or raw? Would you serve him to CBB, or keep him all for yourself?

You sound like an awesome teacher. I look forward to hearing some of your MFC entries.

Also, I think the problem with myspace is that it dilutes the internet. It's not any different, really, than geocities or livejournal apart from the Web 2.0 stuff.

Also, as you said, it's a meatmarket.

who's truly excellent, and he finds myspace absolutely horrifying. Even so, he's in a band and finds it the most useful site to put music on.

I think that's why the place is popular - musicians are popular, and because it's good for putting up music, bands (and their fans, and friends) gravitate to it.

myspace by alprazolam (2.00 / 0) #18 Wed Feb 07, 2007 at 08:52:22 AM EST
it's slow and stupid and crappy but i guess people like it because they don't have to know how to write even html, plus they like to see how many "friends" they can have. i don't know about meeting people there, i don't see how you would do that. but it could be good for keeping in touch with your friends in family who live far away if you don't want to write a long email or pay for a text message or whatever.

good luck getting your first private student. that sounds like something that could be rewarding.

Excellent games!!! by Breaker (2.00 / 0) #19 Thu Feb 08, 2007 at 03:06:09 AM EST
Can you try them on the adults too?

Hahaha by littlestar (2.00 / 0) #20 Thu Feb 08, 2007 at 07:52:52 AM EST
I don't think the 65 year old women who walks with two canes could handle it. Ummmm... I don't think they would be down with games. Too many adults feel games are just for kids. Me, I LOVE the games. But, I would be happy to be a kid forever.
