You just skimmed it didn't you? by MisterQueue (2.00 / 0) #2 Sat Sep 23, 2006 at 10:48:30 AM EST
Anyhow, yeah.. I was mostly disappointed because that's a great song... but Lateef's voice isn't a proper replacement. It's just not.

I saw that same goth chick, but she got what she wanted I'm afraid.

You already know this but MNS will make sure you'll praise jebus that you had only one beer Friday night.

Everybody still hates me in this city and I hate everybody.

Don't worry by ucblockhead (4.00 / 1) #4 Sat Sep 23, 2006 at 01:19:57 PM EST
The urge to Napalm all of Berkeley passes.

(The urge to Nuke it to glass that replaces the urge to Napalm it, however, does not.)

Berkeley won't oppress the homeless guys, including the 6'4" homeless guys who like to ask women for twenties at ATMs.

Maybe if I were a college student.. or maybe if I was banging more college students...

Either way really.

If I ever end up a beggar by theboz (4.00 / 1) #6 Sat Sep 23, 2006 at 01:48:08 PM EST
I'm stealing the "bush man"'s idea. Scaring the shit out of people for money sounds like a great thing. The only bad thing against me is that I'm not black, so the innate racism of the American public will make scaring people harder for me.

No, but... by zwhite (4.00 / 1) #18 Sun Sep 24, 2006 at 06:36:55 PM EST
I pretended to be for a couple weeks. It's a long story involving my now ex-wife and trying to fit in with her friends. Given that I'm really introverted and normally too shy to even say much on the intarweb, let alone talk to people standing there in all their meaty glory, you can imagine how well that went.

Well shit then brotha by MisterQueue (2.00 / 0) #19 Sun Sep 24, 2006 at 06:45:01 PM EST
tell the story. Life is basically a collection of such.. spill it.

one of these days, I will by zwhite (2.00 / 0) #20 Tue Sep 26, 2006 at 07:42:24 PM EST
I actually started to tell the story of my life in California once on k5, a few years ago. Then, as usually happens, work and other non-internet concerns got in my way. Perhaps I'll restart that effort here soon. But not today. You see, I've just returned from the beauty that is the Grand Tetons, and the hellhole that is Yellowstone, driving home through insignificant little towns that don't even have cell reception. I'm amazed that I had internet access while in an area that's ostensibly a national forest, but communications in the towns between there and my current abode in eastern washington are decidedly less prolific.

unmeetup condolences by LinDze (4.00 / 1) #14 Sat Sep 23, 2006 at 05:04:19 PM EST
didnt see that you were going to be in the area early. We left here a litle late and traffic on 101/80 sucked so we werent in berkeley 'till 5 or so anyways.

Everyone ended up grabbing a couple of beers at Triple Rock afterwards so you missed the key drink time. r343l had to leave early for bart, then aph and mm checked out round 1. Ended up walking to becketts and got a few rounds of irish single malts before they closed.
