Why should I care if you sex0r my best friend's girlfriend?

People in this country underestimate how many absolutely loaded people there are in Mexico. One thing you may have noticed from the movie was how easily rich Mexicans can just jet up to Tahoe for the weekend (as opposed to poor "illegals".)

How is that any different by ks1178 (2.00 / 0) #2 Wed Mar 29, 2006 at 08:05:47 AM EST
Than American's being able to go to Cancun easily?

The reason the government makes it difficult for the poor mexicans to get into the country is because they tend to want to stay in the country.

The rich ones just visit, spend some money, and go back home.

And that's the same for most countries. It's quite simple for me to go visit Canada (as an American). Getting a job in Canada, on the other hand, is much more difficult for me.

and are conflating two issues.

In any case, I was merely telling you what I meant by the phrase "middle America".

And please don't take this comment as me being against making it easier for people to work in the U.S.

I'm hoping that either the current bill being proposed for allowing illegal aliens working in the US to become legal workers, or a similar one gets put in place.

WRT Spawn at work. My daughters like to come into work with me because, as much fun as your swivel chair at home is, a whole cube farm of swivel chairs is even more fun. Which is why I no longer bring my daughters to work. The last time, I only needed fifteen minutes to install a new CRT in the training lab. Good gravy! The amount of trouble that they managed to find in fifteen minutes surprised even me.

There is no more degenerate kind of state than that in which the richest are supposed to be the best.

they show them kissing by MillMan (2.00 / 0) #17 Wed Mar 29, 2006 at 03:13:54 PM EST
I guess dudes kissing goes beyond R rated. lollerskats.

IIRC the director felt like making a realistic coming of age movie, unlike, say, American Pie.

Everybody still hates me in this city and I hate everybody.

making what happened a lot less ambigous.

As Mrs. Ha says, they can show two dudes' weinies flapping around, but not two dudes kissing.

Do yourself a favour and watch the unrated version by 256 (2.00 / 0) #24 Thu Mar 30, 2006 at 06:49:02 AM EST
it is perhaps the sexiest movie i have ever seen.

and yes, in the unrated version it is implied as strongly as it can be without showing bumsex on screen that after getting drunk at the tiny coastal cantina, the woman gently and successfully encourages the boys to have sex with each other.
