Animaniacs & Therapy by jaxom green (4.00 / 3) #4 Wed Apr 16, 2008 at 07:11:15 PM EST
Thanks to the wonder of Netflix I've been able to introduce my kids to the wonders of the Animaniacs.  They love them and it's now one of their favorite cartoons currently.

Regarding therapy, my wife's first appointment is tomorrow, hopefully she and her therapist work out so my wife can work through the stress about her mother's cancer.  I've got Ana's diary that chronologically links to your story ready to send to my wife so she can read it when it's time.  Between therapy and reading your story I hope she'll be prepared when her mother's time comes.

Just remember that you and your story are helping people you've never met stay strong during similar circumstances.  It's certainly been instrumental in helping me help my wife.

Thank you for telling me this. by toxicfur (4.00 / 2) #14 Wed Apr 16, 2008 at 10:03:01 PM EST
Also, I'm glad your wife is able to seek out therapy while she's dealing with this stuff. If I hadn't had husi, I'm not sure how I would've coped. Even less well, I suspect. The diaries I wrote gave me an outlet I really needed, and I'm glad that a secondary effect is that they're helpful to others, too. My very best to your wife. What she's going through I wouldn't wish on anyone.
