I'm not exactly picky about music -- if the crowd is into it, I usually can get into it. I went in liking the Autechre I've heard.

The openers were painful, especially this Rob Hall fellow (I think that was his name). Like 5 minutes of "ooh, this is kind of neat" followed by 30 minutes of soul-crushing boredom (also of course loud).

By the time Autechre came on, my ability to mentally takeover other people in order to find something was gone. Hmm. That sounds far worse than it really is. I'm not really a freak.

am now VERY tempted to make my entry about the women from the planet R343L, like woman women but taller and with a larger capacity for alcohol and the uncanny ability to mentally takeover other people

I typed "like earth women" but somhow this got managled to "like woman women".
