I don’t understand why bringing up sex is taboo. It’s ridiculous. If I cannot be open with my own father and mother, the people who have brought me here, then what is the point in communicating? I love shocking people who can get easily embarrassed. Outside of this, I could care less about sex.

Shocking people is amusing, because of how easy it is, and once you realize the shock comes not from what you said to them, but from the other person's bizarre framing world view that makes your comments "shocking".

Its the same with drugs, politics, religion, or just about anything that is used to make one self-censor. Your father's and sister's reaction shows everyone is concerned about what "other people think" - I find that the less attention I pay to that, the more amusing life gets.
