In another job, long ago I once lost it when my old boss said "What can we do to help you solve the problem?" for the umpteenth and turn to him and said "you can stop bugging me so that I can concentrate enough to fix it!"

in Gaithersburg. Unfortunately, when he does show up, he improves things by more meetings. As deadlines approach, and he realizes that his style would require 25 hours/day of meetings, he buggers off.
