I guess grit(s) is a stretch too far, unless the need for a carbohydrate is strong enough to permit such a bending of the rules.
We didn't get grits, but I think that counts: "She grits her teeth."
Sprout we got, but it was, along with mushrooms, dismissed by her. She can be a tough audience (which is weird because she married a man who often goes for the low hanging, not-that-funny joke).[ Parent ]
