I pretended to be for a couple weeks. It's a long story involving my now ex-wife and trying to fit in with her friends. Given that I'm really introverted and normally too shy to even say much on the intarweb, let alone talk to people standing there in all their meaty glory, you can imagine how well that went.

I actually started to tell the story of my life in California once on k5, a few years ago. Then, as usually happens, work and other non-internet concerns got in my way. Perhaps I'll restart that effort here soon. But not today. You see, I've just returned from the beauty that is the Grand Tetons, and the hellhole that is Yellowstone, driving home through insignificant little towns that don't even have cell reception. I'm amazed that I had internet access while in an area that's ostensibly a national forest, but communications in the towns between there and my current abode in eastern washington are decidedly less prolific.
